A murderer was caught on bus surveillance footage in London — with the head of his neighbor in a bag.

Illegal immigrant Mohamed Boudjenane later hurled the head into a canal, a court was told.

The Algerian was convicted of killing Lakhdar Ouyahia, 43, two days earlier — hours after raping a woman in his apartment.

He was obsessed with a 42-year-old Filipino nanny and suspected her of sleeping with Ouyahia, who lived in the apartment above.

The court was told Boudjenane, 45, locked the mother of four in his flat in Kilburn, North West London.

He allegedly beat Ouyahia with a hammer and chopped his head off with a meat cleaver.

The torso was found behind a Somerfield store in Kilburn three days later.

Boudjenane claimed he heard voices in his head, suffered depression, was suicidal — and had no memory of the murder.

He had a failed asylum bid in 1998 but continued to live in England.

Boudjenane was given life, with a minimum of 22 years.
