Dear Viewers,
I have received tons of e-mail about the weather bug that we now post on our show after about 10:40 p.m. ET.
The point is to give you a heads up on what weather to expect in your area the following day. Many like it, but want more cities represented. Tuesday night I received two requests: Milwaukee and Charlotte, North Carolina. To those of you who wrote, I am checking it out to see if we can add those cities.
Some e-mailers hate the weather bug and also take the chance to complain about the crawl at the bottom of the screen. Incidentally, I hated the crawl on cable news when it first appeared but now find myself reading it and liking it.
The only time I hate the crawl is when I turn on the TV and see only "50,000 people killed in..." and did not see the first part of the crawl which has passed which reads something like "The 100th anniversary of 50,000 people killed in..."
