Buck Crashes Through Door of Business Named Deery

BURLINGTON, Iowa – A deer caused its own collision when it crashed through the front door of an auto repair shop in Burlington.

Workers at Deery Bros. Collision Center say the six-point buck rammed its head against the glass door Thursday morning. When the glass gave way, the buck got inside the office, where it crashed into several desks and file cabinets, leaving a bloody mess.

Assistant Manager Korey Trail says they tried to get the deer to leave by opening all the office doors, but no luck. Trail says they called police, but the buck died a few minutes later from its injuries.
