Boxer Rebellion: Vicious or Victim?

Is Sen. Barbara Boxer (search), D-Calif., the real victim of last week's confirmation hearing for Secretary of State-designate Condoleezza Rice?

"She turned and attacked me," the California Democrat said in a televised interview, describing the confrontation during the Senate Foreign Relations Committee hearing.

"I gave Dr. Rice many opportunities to address specific issues. Instead, she said I was impugning her integrity," Mrs. Boxer said.

Vicious, period! There is a BIG difference between "tough questions" and calling someone a LIAR and the Democrats better learn the difference. "Folks" are fed up with "differences of opinions" being used as an excuse by the Democrats to call the president, Dr. Rice and many others "LIARS!" Daschle knows the Moore-Soros talking points are not working... Kennedy, Boxer, and Kerry have yet to learn!

All I can say is what a nut! She does not represent the party of my Grandfather! She accuses Dr. Rice of being blinded with loyalty to the Administration: Wow, lets look at Sandy Berger: How blinded with loyalty was he when he stole papers that made Clinton look bad on terrorism? Where was Boxer’s outrage?

In the name of "fair and balanced", shouldn't you point out that Sen. Boxer lied about the resolution to go to war. It was not "WMDs period." Also she lied about the number of soldiers from her home state. It was not 25% of the casualties.

Ms. Boxer went beyond tough questions and attempted to smear Dr. Rice. Just as LT Kerry is only electable in his home state, Ms. Boxer only has her job because she is from CA. She picked this fight! Now she needs to live with the results. Or she could run for the chair of the DNC
