Exit polls say President Evo Morales has easily won re-election in Bolivia, gaining more than 60 percent of the vote.

Exit polls by two separate firms say Bolivia's first indigenous leader won at least 62 percent of the vote with top opposition challenger Manfred Reyes winning some 23 percent.

Opinion polls from two weeks ago gave Morales about 55 percent support.

The error margin was 4 percentage points for an Ipsos-Apoyo exit poll that surveyed 3,600 people at 36 locations. The margin was 1 percentage point for the poll by Equipos-Mori, which surveyed 2,500 people at 1,000 voting stations.
