Would you let in a man who knocked on your door offering a free breast exam? Well, several women did and quickly realized their mistake. Seventy-six-year-old William Winikoff was hauled off to jail charged with lewd and lascivious conduct in Lauderdale Lakes, FL. But the question we kept asking ourselves on the set was, WHO would take a stranger up on this even stranger offer in the first place!?
Speaking of oddballs: 45-year-old Michael Thelemann in Oklahoma is looking for a Mrs. Thelemann. According to the wife wanted sign he put up in his yard he's looking for a born-again, God-fearing virgin between the ages of 12 and 24 who can bear him children. What does he not want in a wife? According to the sign he put up after the first one was stolen, he doesn’t want a "pig-worshipping, heathen, white-supremacist wife." Okaaaay. What a catch he must be.
Onto the biggest topic according to your e-mails. Once again it's... illegal immigration! I had hoped that Arizona Governor Janet Napolitano was serious about her statements to clamp down on illegal border crossings. Since an estimated 500,000 of her state's 6 million residents are there illegally, she certainly is aware of the safety concerns and the education and health care costs to Arizona taxpayers. That leaves many people scratching their heads after she vetoed a new bill to expand the state's trespassing law by letting local authorities arrest illegal immigrants when they catch them.
In a letter, Governor Napolitano said she opposed turning illegal immigrants into criminals. What? If they are in our country illegally, they are ALREADY criminals because they had to break the law to get here. No one is "turning" them into criminals.
On Friday, we'll have the latest on illegal immigration and what action is being taken around the country. Also, I'm sure we’ll have some more news on the Duke lacrosse story. Boy, has my opinion changed on this one as more facts come out. We'll bring you the latest and expect the newest DNA tests.
