Police say a 59-year-old who set up a camp deep in the Adirondack woods is accused of robbing more than 60 seasonal homes in the North Country.

The Warren County Sheriff's Office spent two days in the woods before they finally came upon Alan Como's makeshift camp in the woods of the town of Horicon.

Authorities say Como is suspected to breaking into and stealing items from more than 60 vacation homes and camps in northern Warren County.

Como told the police he's been surviving in the woods for the past 20 years.

He's being held in the county jail.
