Authorities are investigating an early Monday morning shooting that wounded seven people at a Chapel Hill nightclub.

The shooting happened around 1 a.m. at Visions Night Club.

Chapel Hill Police Capt. Bob Overton says authorities don't know how many shots were fired or how many people were shooting.

Police say that three people, including two security guards, were taken to University of North Carolina Hospitals.

Some of the victims were able to drive themselves to the hospital, police said.

Police say none of the injuries are considered to be life-threatening.
