6.8-Magnitude Quake Hits Colombia

MEXICO CITY – A 6.8-magnitude earthquake struck Sunday night near the southwestern coast of Colombia, the U.S. Geographic Survey reported.

The quake registered at 8:49 p.m. local time and was centered along the Pacific coast about 235 miles southwest of the Colombian capital of Bogota.
