Police in Georgia's DeKalb County said they have found a missing baby girl whose mother was shot and killed.
DeKalb County Officer Marcus Hodge told FOX News that 5-month-old Precious Diamond Spencer was found Wednesday at home located on Daisy Drive in the town of Decatur.
"The baby was unharmed," he said.
Authorities said the child had last been seen with her mother, 24-year-old Alisha Spencer, on May 24 at a house on Daisy Drive, WGCL TV reported.
Alisha was found dead by the owner of a property in southwest Atlanta. She had been shot in the neck and the back, according to police.
According to Hodge, police are still investigating a possible link between Precious Diamond's disappearance and her mother's death.
