A father and his son fishing near Long Neck have rescued a Philadelphia woman who ran off the road and into a body of water.

Paul Powalski of Millsboro said he and his son Paul finished fishing about 1 a.m. Friday and they saw a car driving through the parking lot at Massey's Landing Boat Ramp.

The two say 24-year-old Jennifer Mullee of Philadelphia drove right past them and into a stretch of water about 15 feet deep that connects Indian River and Rehoboth bays.

Mullee said she left a nearby bar and doesn't remember much. But she knows she "wouldn't be here" if not for the Powalskis. They pulled her through a window of her car that was open.
