MESQUITE, Texas – Officials say two bank employees were shot during an attempted robbery in the Dallas suburb of Mesquite.
Compass Bank spokesman Ed Bilek says both workers were in stable condition at a hospital after Friday's shooting.
He wasn't aware of other injuries.
Mesquite police dispatcher Lisa Walvel says police asked area schools to be locked down as a precaution.
Officials had no other details on the attempted robbery.
