A woman accused of shaking down New York Yankees general manager Brian Cashman is out of jail.

Louise Neathway was freed on $300,000 bond Friday. She'd spent five months behind bars while her lawyers and family tried unsuccessfully to get her bond lowered and then worked to raise the money.

Prosecutors say the 36-year-old Neathway stalked Cashman and extorted $6,000 from him by threatening to hurt his reputation. She says they had a consensual affair.

Neathway also is facing a slate of other charges ranging from harassing her ex-husband to lying on an apartment application. She has pleaded not guilty to all of them.

Neathway will have to wear an ankle monitor and avoid Cashman and Yankee Stadium.

A Cashman spokesman hasn't returned a call seeking comment.
