Wolfsburg, Germany – Bundesliga side Wolfsburg signed Czech 16 season.
The 25-year-old Jiracek will join Wolfsburg from Viktoria Plzen in the Czech Republic, where he had played since 2008. He has made five appearances for the Czech Republic, which qualified for the Euro 2012 finals.
"I'm glad that we could take a player with Champions League and national team experience under contract," said Wolfsburg coach Felix Magath. "Jiracek is a variable ... midfielder."
Wolfsburg is 12th at the Bundesliga's winter break, 17 points behind leader Bayern Munich and just four points above the relegation zone.
