Oklahoma coach Bob Stoops says that while quarterback Blake Bell will start in two weeks at Notre Dame, he's not ready to name a starter for the rest of the season.

Bell threw for 413 yards and four touchdowns as the No. 14 Sooners (3-0) beat Tulsa 51-20 on Saturday, a performance Stoops says was the best debut in the program's history for a quarterback in his first start.

The performance came after Bell lost the job to Trevor Knight during the preseason, and after Knight missed the game against the Golden Hurricane with a knee injury.

Stoops will continue to see how Bell, Knight and Kendal Thompson — who is coming back from a broken foot — perform before naming a starter for the rest of the season.
