Andre Ward dominated Carl Froch and round unanimous decision Saturday night.

Ward (25-0, 13 KOs), who successfully defended his WBA super middleweight title and took Froch's WBC belt, won by scores of 115-113 from two judges and 118-110 from a third.

The 27-year-old Ward connected on 87 more punches than Froch (28-2, 20 KOs) and hurt the Englishman with a left hook and uppercut in round four.

Ward, an Olympic gold medalist, backed his opponent to the ropes with good shots two rounds later and was able to fend off any possible offensive showing from Froch.

A native of Oakland, CA, Ward was able to finish off his domination of the six-man tournament at the 168-pound level. The event stretched over two years.
