Seth VanDeest scored 17 points and converted a go-ahead three-point play with 2:55 left to lead Drake to a 64-58 victory over Bradley on Friday night.

The Bulldogs (7-8, 2-2 Missouri Valley), who broke a two-game losing streak, got 12 points from Rayvonte Rice, 11 from Ben Simons and 10 from Aaron Hawley. Rice also grabbed a game-best eight rebounds.

Andrew Warren scored 20 points for the Braves (6-9, 0-4), who lost their fourth in a row and sixth straight road game. Dodie Dunson added 12 points.

Warren, who hit four 3-pointers, became the 20th player in Bradley history to score 1,300 career points. He has 1,303.

VanDeest scored, was fouled and hit the free throw to put Drake ahead 54-53. Simons and VanDeest each hit two more foul shots as the Bulldogs led 58-53 with 2:22 left and held on from there.
