The U.S. women's national team will play France and England in February in World Cup warmup matches.

The U.S. team will face France on Feb. 8 in Lorient at the 18,500-seat stadium that's home to Ligue 1 side FC Lorient. The top-ranked Americans will travel to England for a match on Feb. 13.

France and England went unbeaten in their World Cup qualifying groups. France is ranked fourth in the world and England is seventh.

U.S. coach Jill Ellis says the "These are two opponents that will test us and certainly two teams we could meet in Canada."

Teams will find out their first-round groups Saturday for the Women's World Cup, which begins next summer.
