The next season of "The Ultimate Fighter" will debut on FOX Sports 1 on Sept. 9, and the finale also has a date on Dec. 11 in Las Vegas, just one night prior to UFC 194: Aldo vs. McGregor.

No venue or main event has been confirmed, but UFC officials announced the date and two new fights set to take place on the card.

In the lightweight division, all-time bonus winner Joe Lauzon gets back in action following a win over Takanori Gomi in his last fight as he faces Evan Dunham.

Dunham is also fresh off a win, over Ross Pearson.

Also added to the new card is a welterweight bout as Mike Pierce returns from a long layoff due to injury when he faces Ryan LaFlare.

LaFlare suffered the first setback of his career when he fell to Demian Maia earlier this year, but now will try to get back on track while facing Pierce.

The finals from this season of "The Ultimate Fighter" will also take place on Dec. 11 with competitors represented from the two teams coached by Conor McGregor and Urijah Faber.

More fights for the upcoming "Ultimate Fighter" finale card will be announced in the coming weeks.
