New York, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - Connecticut remained the unanimous No. 1 team in the latest Associated Press women's college basketball poll, which saw significant shuffling in the top 10 following this past week's results.

The defending national champion Huskies (26-0) received all 36 first-place votes for a total of 900 points for a 14th consecutive week, with fellow unbeaten Notre Dame (24-0) continuing to lurk in the No. 2 spot.

Duke tumbled from third to seventh following last Monday's loss to rival North Carolina, which climbed six places from 17th to 11th with the victory. The outcome enabled Louisville to move up a notch to third, with South Carolina, Stanford and Baylor following the Cardinals in the rankings while also vaulting one spot.

Maryland went from ninth to eighth and Penn State went up two places to ninth, with Tennessee rounding out the top 10 and falling two spots after a loss to No. 15 Kentucky.

Oklahoma State, West Virginia and North Carolina State occupy slots 12 through 14, with the Wolfpack moving down four spots due to a loss to North Carolina on Sunday. Texas A&M, Nebraska, California, LSU and Arizona State round out the second 10, followed by Purdue, St. John's, Michigan State and Gonzaga.

Rutgers is the lone new entry in this week's poll, with the Scarlet Knights grabbing the No. 25 spot. Vanderbilt fell out of the rankings from 16th after losing three times last week.
