Far Hills, NJ – The United States Golf Association announced Monday that Del Paso Country Club in Sacramento, Calif. will host the 2015 U.S. Senior Open.
The championship will be held June 25-28.
"The USGA is pleased to continue its friendship with Del Paso Country Club and the community of Sacramento," said USGA Vice President and Championship Committee Chairman Thomas J. O'Toole Jr. "Del Paso and Sacramento have embraced the spirit of this national championship and will be great partners with the USGA in producing what we are confident will be a successful championship and community event."
Del Paso Country Club hosted the 1982 U.S. Women's Open and the U.S. Women's Amateur in 1957 and 1976. The only other USGA event at Del Paso was the 1964 USGA Senior Women's Amateur Championship.
This year's U.S. Senior Open will be held at Indianwood Golf & Country Club in Lake Orion, Mich. Olin Browne captured last year's event at Inverness Club.
