Twins activate Swarzak, place De Vries on DL

The Minnesota Twins activated pitcher Anthony Swarzak from the 15-day disabled list on Sunday and placed pitcher Cole De Vries on the 15-day DL.

Swarzak started the season on the DL as he was suffering from two fractured ribs, while De Vries is going on the DL with a right forearm strain.

Neither player has made an appearance with the team this season.

In other roster moves, Minnesota optioned pitcher Tyler Robertson to Triple-A Rochester after Saturday's game against the Orioles, and recalled pitcher Pedro Hernandez from Rochester on Sunday.

Robertson has pitched in two games for the Twins this season and has given up a solo home run over one inning of work.
