Toyota has unveiled a remodeled Camry it will race next season, and the street version is the designated pace car for Saturday night's Sprint Cup race at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

Toyota is the first manufacturer to move to an updated version of its race car. It closely resembles the 2015 Camry consumers can purchase. Chevrolet, Ford and Toyota in 2013 all unveiled race cars that resembled the showroom vehicles.

A recent ban on individual team testing means Toyota has limited to time to get the car on track before its debut at Daytona in February. The automaker has tests scheduled in the coming month for Phoenix, Fontana and Charlotte.
