Toronto waives Cesar

Toronto, ON – Toronto FC announced Friday that the club has waived midfielder Julio Cesar.

Cesar joined TFC on Jan. 15 but failed to make an appearance with the Canadian club. The 34-year-old was sidelined for the majority of Toronto's preseason campaign with a calf injury.
