After sitting out the entire 2014 season, it appears NaVorro Bowman is ready to contribute in a big way for the 49ers in 2015.
Early reviews from head coach Jim Tomsula are positive.
"What I just saw there, my gosh, he looked fantastic," coach Jim Tomsula said Friday, via Bay Area News Group, referring to Bowman's first practice of training camp.
After losing key players such as Patrick Willis, Chris Borland and Justin Smith to retirement, and Perrish Cox and Chris Culliver in free agency, the glowing comments about Bowman should ease the sting a little for a defense that will have much different personnel come fall.
