Texans' Leinart leaves with shoulder injury

Houston Texans quarterback Matt Leinart left Sunday's game against the Jaguars with a shoulder injury.

Leinart landed on his shoulder after taking a hit in the second quarter.

The former Heisman Trophy winner was making his first start since 2009 because starter Matt Schaub was placed on injured reserve this week.

Rookie T.J. Yates closed out the first half and will play for the remainder of the game.

Leinart completed 10-of-13 passes for 57 yards and a touchdown before leaving.
