Houston Texans linebacker Brian Cushing was forced to leave Monday's game against the New York Jets in the second quarter with a left knee injury.

Cushing suffered the injury while taking a low block by a Jets player near the midpoint of the second quarter.

He was able to walk off the field under his own power, but then was taken to the locker room after getting looked at by a trainer on the sidelines.

The 2009 Defensive Rookie of the Year had 24 tackles and an interception through Houston's first four games this season.
