Alessandro Tadini parred the third playoff hole Saturday to win the ECCO Tour Championship on the European Challenge Tour.

Tadini earned his fourth Challenge Tour victory and first since 2010.

Tadini shot a 3-under 69 on Saturday and matched James Busby, who had a 2- under 70, in a tie at 12-under 276.

On the third extra hole, Busby knocked his approach long and right. Tadini hit his second to eight feet and the pressure was on Busby. He chipped to six feet, but Tadini had a putt to win.

His birdie try stayed above ground and Busby breathed new life. He needed to hole his par putt to have any chance of extending the playoff. He couldn't and Tadini tapped in for the par and win.

Kristoffer Broberg's bid for a third straight Challenge Tour title came up just short. Broberg, who won the Finnish Challenge and the Norwegian Challenge the last two weeks, shot a 1-under 71 and missed the playoff by a single stroke. He tied for third with third-round leader Klas Eriksson (72) at minus-11.
