Enschede, Netherlands (SportsNetwork.com) - Dusan Tadic scored deep in stoppage time on Sunday to lift Twente to a 2-1 victory over AZ Alkmaar at the De Grolsch Veste.

Things started quickly for the visitors as Steven Berghuis found the back of the net for AZ Alkmaar five minutes before the intermission.

But they failed to hold the lead in the second half as Twente found an equalizer in the 69th minute through Youness Mokhtar.

It appeared the game was headed for a stalemate, but Tadic had other ideas as he buried the winner in the third minute of stoppage time to hand all three points to Twente.

The result sees Twente rise to second place in the Eredivisie with 52 points, six behind leaders Ajax, while AZ Alkmaar remains in seventh place with 40 points.

Elsewhere in the Eredivisie on Sunday, Ruud Vormer and Lex Immers scored second-half goals to send Feyenoord to a 2-0 win over Heerenveen at the De Kuip Stadion, while, Jakob Jantscher's goal on the hour mark rescued a point for NEC in a 2-2 draw with Utrecht.

Jesper Drost and Guyon Fernandez scored a Zwolle earned a 2-0 victory against Go Ahead Eagles, while Ajax was held to a scoreless draw by NAC at the Rat Verlegh Stadion.
