Sweet tooths rejoice! Charlotte Motor Speedway is rolling out another amazing culinary creation for race fans.
The "Sweet Potato Casserole Funnel Cake" will make its debut at October's Bank of America 500. The 1,098-calorie dessert was designed by Levy Restaurants executive chef Shawn McFalls. Here's what you're getting:
Sweet potatoes blended with funnel cake batter, cinnamon, brown sugar, nutmeg, ground cloves, drizzled with marshmallow cream and topped with pecans marinated in sweet potato and maple syrup, vanilla and brown sugar.
McFalls says they may even experiment by adding candied bacon on top.
The funnel cake is just the latest innovative edible from the track that has also given us Candied-Bacon Lollipops, the Crank Shaft Burrito and the Speedway Picnic Burger.
