Swansea's Rangel out with ankle knock

Swansea, Wales – Swansea City defender Angel Rangel has been year-old landed awkwardly during the club's Premier League match against Aston Villa on Sunday.

A scan revealed that Rangel has ligament damage to his ankle and could be unavailable until the end of the year.

Rangel is expected to miss a number of Swansea's fixtures over the holiday period, including the club's visit to Ewood Park against Blackburn on Saturday.
