Swansea City will be without midfielder Kemy Agustien for the next three weeks because of an ankle injury, the club announced on Wednesday.

The 25-year-old picked up an ankle injury in training prior to his team's 3-2 defeat against Norwich City on February 11, and a statement from the club has revealed the expected length of his absence.

"Kemy Agustien faces at least three weeks on the sidelines after undergoing an ankle operation," the statement read.

"Following a scan, Agustien had a small operation on Tuesday to cure the injury he sustained in training prior to the home clash with Norwich."

Agustien joined Swansea on a free transfer in September 2010 and has appeared in 13 league matches for the Swans this season.
