Statistically, Rob Gronkowski was the best tight end in the NFL last season with 1,124 yards and 12 touchdowns. Physically, he might be the most dominant player in the league, as well. He's an impossible matchup for defenders whether he's split outside or on the line as a tight end.

With all that said, Gronk is well-deserving of his latest title: the best tight end in "Madden NFL 16." Gronkowski tips the ratings scale with a ridiculous 99 overall. The next closest tight end is Jimmy Graham of the Seattle Seahawks, who has an overall rating of 95.

Here's a snippet from EA Sports about Gronk's numbers:

"Gronk has three of the top ratings among tight ends with 94 Spectacular Catch, 98 Catch in Traffic, and 95 Release. He adds 94 Catching and 82 SPD/87 ACC/84 JMP/84 SFA. When healthy, there's nobody better."

They've got that right. When Gronk is healthy, he's unstoppable and Tom Brady's favorite weapon.
