Osaka, Japan (SportsNetwork.com) - Third-seeded Samantha Stosur advanced to the finals at the Japan Women's Open on Saturday.

The 2009 Osaka champion and 2011 runner-up was a 6-1, 6-2 winner over sixth-seeded, 18-year-old American Madison Keys. Stosur saved all three of her break points and fired three aces.

It was Keys' first ever WTA semifinal appearance.

Next up for Stosur will be fifth-seeded Canadian Eugenie Bouchard, who defeated Japanese wild card Kurumi Nara 6-2, 6-2.
