Stan Okoye scored 34 points and grabbed 16 rebounds to lead Virginia Military Institute to a 94-80 win over Longwood on Saturday in the regular-season finale for both teams.

Rodney Glasgow finished with 11 points and 10 assists for the Keydets (13-16, 8-8 Big South Conference), who have won two straight. D.J. Covington had 16 points before fouling out and Brian Brown had 11 points.

VMI went on a 10-0 run that was capped by Nick Gore's 3-pointer with 5:49 left in the first half to claim a 39-21 lead. The Keydets took their largest lead of the game at 66-45 when Okoye knocked down a 3-pointer with 17:58 left.

Longwood (7-24, 4-12) failed to trim the deficit under double-digits the rest of the way.

Michael Kessen led the Lancers with 17 points. Jeylani Dublin had 14 points and 12 rebounds, and Lucas Woodhouse added 11 points and nine assists.
