Andrew Nicholson scored 25 points and grabbed 11 rebounds to lead St. Bonaventure to a 69-60 victory over Fordham on Saturday.

The Bonnies (11-9, 3-4 Atlantic 10 Conference) built a 17-point advantage in the first half, almost all of which remained in a 36-20 halftime lead. But the Rams (6-13, 0-7) wouldn't go quietly to their ninth straight loss.

Fordham, which was led by Brenton Butler's 15 points, opened the second half on a 22-6 run, catching St. Bonaventure at 42-42 when Chris Gaston scored on a layup with 10:53 left. Gaston had 11 points and 11 rebounds for Fordham, his 12th double-double of the season, and scored eight points during the tying run. Branden Frazier also had 11 points for Fordham, which never led.

Demitrius Conger scored the Bonnies' next six points, part of a 12-4 run that put his team ahead to stay. Conger finished with 11 for the Bonnies.
