The San Antonio Spurs have added center Eddy Curry to their 2012-13 training camp roster, the team announced on Monday.

Curry, the fourth overall selection in the 2001 NBA Draft, spent last season with the Miami Heat and appeared in 14 games with the 2011-12 league champions, averaging 2.1 points, 0.9 rebounds and 5.9 minutes.

The 29-year-old has also played for Chicago and the New York Knicks during his 10-year NBA tenure and owns career averages of 13.0 points and 5.2 rebounds per game.

Curry's best season came with the Knicks in 2006-07, when he averaged 19.5 points and 7.0 rebounds.

The Spurs also signed guard Sherron Collins on Monday. The former Kansas standout saw action in 20 games with Charlotte during the 2010-11 campaign and spent last year playing in Turkey.
