Kristi Toliver scored 26 points and the Los Angeles Sparks won their ninth straight game, 87-62, over the New York Liberty.

Candace Parker and DeLisha Milton-Jones totaled 12 points each, and Nneka Ogwumike had 10 points and seven rebounds. The Sparks, who moved to 11-1 at home this season, never trailed and made it a blowout with a 22-5 scoring advantage in the final quarter.

Cappie Pondexter scored 20 and Plenette Pierson added 16 points and 10 rebounds for the Liberty, who fell to 2-2 on their five-game road trip, which concludes Sunday night in Seattle.

The Liberty committed 21 turnovers, leading to 22 Los Angeles points.

Toliver made three 3-point shots in the final quarter and had 14 points in the period.
