Vermillion, SD (SportsNetwork.com) - South Dakota will kick off the 2015 season at Kansas State and play five times at home as part of an 11-game schedule announced on Tuesday.
USD will visit K-State in Manhattan on Sept. 5. The visiting Coyotes lost all three previous meetings from 1980-82.
The Coyotes will host home games against Drake (Sept. 19) and Missouri Valley Football Conference members Youngstown State (Oct. 3), Missouri State (Oct. 24), Southern Illinois (Nov. 7) and South Dakota State (Nov. 14).
Last year, USD finished 2-10 under coach Joe Glenn, including 0-8 in conference games.
