Sharks put Havlat on IR

San Jose, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - The San Jose Sharks placed forward Martin Havlat on injured reserve.

Havlat hasn't played since Dec. 21 due to a lower-body injury. He has three goals and five assists in 22 games this season.

The Sharks also recalled forward Freddie Hamilton from Worcester of the AHL. Hamilton has played in seven games with San Jose this season.
