Seymour joins Chievo on loan

Verona, Italy – Chievo confirmed on Wednesday the club has signed Chilean midfielder Felipe Seymour on loan with an option to buy for the remainder of the season.

Seymour, 25, makes the switch to Verona from Genoa, where he made 15 league appearances for the Rossoblu this term. But newly-appointed Genoa boss Davide Ballardini allowed him to move to the Stadio Marc'Antonio Bentegodi.

The holding midfielder arrived at Genoa in May of 2011 following a five-year spell at the Universidad de Chile and spent the final six months of last season on loan with Catania.
