Kansas coach Bill Self says that star freshman Joel Embiid is doing better after resting back and knee injuries, but no decision has been made on whether he'll miss any games.

The 7-footer sprained his knee against TCU on Jan. 25, and has been dealing with back pain for a while. While he hasn't missed any games, his playing time has decreased. He played only 18 minutes in an overtime loss to Kansas State on Monday night.

The eighth-ranked Jayhawks play the Horned Frogs again Saturday.

Self said Thursday that Embiid dressed for practice earlier in the week but sat out the entire workout. His game status will depend on whether he is able to practice Friday.
