Genoa, Italy – Sampdoria has confirmed that striker Mauro Icardi will be leaving the club this summer for Inter Milan.
The 20-year-old has been linked with a number of clubs outside of Italy, but he will remain in Serie A with the Nerazzurri next season.
Icardi leads Sampdoria with nine goals in 30 league games in his first full season in the top flight.
