Buffalo, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - The Buffalo Sabres activated forward Patrick Kaleta from injured reserve on Thursday.

Kaleta underwent surgery to repair his anterior cruciate ligament and remove bone chips in his knee. He is expected to return to the lineup Thursday against the Coyotes and play for the first time since Feb. 10.

The 28-year-old Buffalo native has tallied three assists and 32 penalty minutes in 33 games this season.
