The Packers have scratched safety Morgan Burnett for Sunday's home opener against the Washington Redskins.

Burnett will sit out for a second straight week with a sore hamstring. He was limited in practice this week.

M.D. Jennings will slide to free safety again for Burnett while Jerron McMillian will start at strong safety. Without Burnett last week, the Packers secondary was burned by quarterback Colin Kaepernick and receiver Anquan Boldin in a 34-28 loss to the 49ers.

Defensive backs Jarrett Bush and Casey Hayward are also inactive with hamstring injuries.

The Redskins have scratched kicker Kai Forbath, who came up with a sore groin Thursday in practice. John Potter will kick in his place, a day after he signed with Washington. He also kicked for the Redskins in preseason.
