Ryan Taylor scored the game-winning points on a three-point play with 10 seconds to go as Marshall rallied to beat East Carolina 64-61 Sunday.

The Thundering Herd (10-20, 4-11 Conference USA) scored the last 10 points of the game while holding the Pirates (16-14, 5-10) scoreless for the final 4:32.

Kareem Canty made 3-pointer and Shawn Smith a layup to lead up to Taylor's go-ahead play which made it 62-61. Canty scored two more on a pair throws after a missed 3-pointer by East Carolina's Akeem Richmond.

Taylor had 15 points and 12 rebounds and Chris Thomas scored 17 to lead the Herd. Canty added 11 points and Smith 10.

Caleb White scored 23 points to lead ECU with Richmond adding 15 and Antonio Robinson 10. The Pirates trailed 52-51 with ten minutes to go, but rallied in front with a 10-2 run, capped by White's 3-pointer at 61-54.
