Philadelphia, PA – Colorado Rockies shortstop Troy Tulowitzki has been diagnosed with Hockey/Baseball Pitcher Syndrome.
Tulowitzki will undergo surgery Thursday in Philadelphia, and there is no timetable for his return.
He was placed on the disabled list on May 31 due to a strained left groin muscle.
Tulowitzki is hitting .287 this year with eight home runs and 27 RBI.
