Denver, CO – Carlos Gonzalez left Friday's game versus San Diego before the start of the seventh inning with an apparent ankle injury.
Gonzalez appeared to turn his ankle while batting in the sixth inning. He was 2-for-3 with two triples, three RBI and a pair of runs scored before exiting.
Jonathan Herrera replaced him in the field.
