Velton Jones scored 15 points and Robert Morris defeated St. Francis (Pa.) for the second time in four days, 78-73 on Saturday night.

The Colonials entered the game shooting 40.4 percent from the field, but shot better than 52 percent for the third time in their past four contests. The Colonials made 55.1 percent of their shots (27 of 49), including 9 of 19 from 3-point range.

Jones was 5 of 7 from the field, including 3 of 4 from long range.

The Red Flash, who entered shooting 42.5 percent from the field, made 54.3 percent (25 of 46).

Russell Johnson added 13 points and Lijah Thompson had 10 for the Colonials (12-13, 8-6 Northeast Conference), who have won seven in a row in the series.

Umar Shannon was 10 of 19 from the field and scored 25 points for the Red Flash (7-18, 5-9), who lost for the fifth consecutive time after a five-game winning streak.
