According to reporting by Jeffrey Flanagan of mlb.com, Royals All-Star Alex Gordon will be back in his customary, Gold Glove-winning spot in left field in 2016 -- and beyond.
Other sources reportedly have confirmed Flanagan's report.
The deal might stretch the Royals' budget a bit, but the defending World Series champs no longer have a big hole in left field.
